DermaTend Review #2
The removal of my 3rd mole on my neck with DermaTend. This mole was a little flatter then the others so I decided to use a toothpick to scratch the top layer of dead skin off instead of the emery board. I think this was a good choice so that I did not scratch the surrounding healthy skin. After one night the mole had turned into a scab. (I do love the quick to scab ones!) The scab remained on for about 5 days on this one. The scab that formed was actually bigger then the mole was. I had read that this could happen as the mole under the skin may be larger than what shows on the surface. After the scab fell off, there was a a bit of redness in the area as well as the skin being slightly darker. This happened to one of the other moles I removed previously so it did not worry me as I know it returns to my regular skin color. I DID notice about 1/4 of mole left that was not removed. I may not have scratched well enough. I will be letting my skin have a break for a few days and then I will treat the small area with DermaTend again. I will update with photos when I remove the remaining portion.
You can try this mole removal method for yourself.
