Laser Mole Removal
Laser mole removal is another form in which you can remove your skin moles. Most patients do not require anesthetic. There is a slight to moderate tingling that can be felt when the laser pulses, Some have described this as the feeling of the snap of a rubber band against the skin. The laser works by sealing the blood vessels and evaporating the tissues they remove. This eliminates the cutting and sutures on the skin. Scarring is often much reduced than in surgical removal. After laser surgery, a scab is formed where mole was previously which usually falls off within 2 weeks. The skin may remain red after the scab is gone and will disappear in time. Laser treatment is expensive and will most likely need several visits to fully remove the unwanted mole. There have been complaints of the mole returning after the expensive treatment, due to the Melanocytes not being fully removed and recreating. The cost of treatment could be anywhere from $50 to $400 per session. This is a better method for removing facial moles than surgery as there is less of a chance of scarring.
